Welcome to Sabine Pass
Sabine Pass is famous for its month-long November flounder run in Dick Dowling Park. Sabine Lake and Keith Lake boast large stocks of redfish year-round as well.
The summer months are a great time for Speckled trout, and like many trout, the best way to catch these trout is close to the jetty wall. This does present a challenge, but that’s all part of the fun.
Our tackle pro suggests live mullet for these speckled trout specifically, with a cork mounted a little over 2 feet from the bait, and weights to keep the mullet in place.
